The set designer, Giuseppe Barbato, was born in Naples in 1983.
In Naples, completes his art studies until graduating in Stage Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in 2007.
A path that leads him to the knowledge of the vast artistic culture of Naples and the European Union, in various fields of interest. By doing so, it leads to experimentation painting, sculpture, photography.

As an assistant designer instead stands alongside the Production Designer Michela Papa, for the film “La sera della prima” – directed L.Cavallaro – prod. Bloopers s.r.l with F.Tripodi, G.Bellavia, U.Fancareggi in 2008
In 2007 he signed his first set design for television with “Te piace o presepe” – AGM – Raiuno – directed V.Marchesini, presented by L.Necco and Lorena Bianchetti.
It ‘production designer in the “short”: “La partita di biglie” directed M.Loi / M.d’ Onofrio – “Aldilà della porta” for the spot and directed L.Cestari and ministerial “Batti il tempo” directed C.Cozzolino .

In 2013 participates as a set designer for the ambitious project of the actor and director Andrea Baglio, experienced YouTuber, for his “Made in Chinema“, an innovative program of satire film, recorded in the studios of Cologno Monzese Mediaset and Sky.
In the following years he signed the scenographies for important award-winning film projects but for the directors: Gabri Gargiulo – Riccardo Marchese – Marco Latour and for theatrical companies for the Napoli Teatro Festival.
Finally, in 2016 he signs his first work as a director, with the documentary: “Emigranti – storie di chi va e chi viene” awarded to various festivals and in particular to that of Gualdo Tadino “Memorie Migranti” 2017.
He currently lives and works between Naples and Rome.
